Ran Sopheak Pagna was born in 1981, Cambodia. In 2002, he was graduated bachelor degree in Computer Science from Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. From 2002 to 2008, he has employed by Womyns Agenda for Change (WAC) as IT Officer. From 2007 to 2009 he has enrolled in Master of Computer Science at Norton University, Phnom Penh, Cambodia and he graduated.

He is working at BCV for about 10 years since 2009 as community media program coordinator. He had involved in so many campaign and workshop of the community people in regarding to Land issues, Natural Resource Management issues, and Human Rights issues. His responsibility is to develop community capacity in promoting their voices throughout community media such as community journalist, video documentary and community radio. He is also played role at management level to develop project proposal and budgeting. With the skill provided to the community representative and network members, communities who have less voices will be able to express their concern related to their culture, natural resource, livelihood and rights to all relevant stakeholders inside and outside the country.

He also spent lot of his time to involved in most of the workshops and meeting related to Climate Change to help community in the grassroots level to have more understanding about the Climate Change and its politic where it is very important information for them to make a better decision before they involve in any development.
