Sarah has been working with RoCK since 2021 and is supporting RoCK’s advocacy works to continue advancing LGBTIQ+ equality in Cambodia, including supporting strategic engagements with the Universal Periodic Review and other United Nations human rights mechanisms, as well as supporting the team with the strategy and implementation of the “ខ្ញុំទទួលយក”- “I Accept” Marriage Equality Kampuchea campaign. Prior to this, Sarah had been working with civil society in Cambodia in the areas of LGBTIQ+ rights, human rights and child rights since 2018. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs.
