REPRESENTATIVE OF KANDAL PROVINCE SPEECH IN PRIDE WEEK 2018
Mr. Sy Chivutha: On behalf of the Kandal Provincial Office, they continue to fully encourage and support the work of Rainbow Community Kampuchea on awareness raising at the sub-national level for reducing discrimination against LGBTIQ, through workshop with local authorities and communities on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression. The workshop that brings more understanding on the differences of biological sex (sex at birth), gender identity (as being defined society) and gender identity and expression (as a self-identification of LGBTIQ individuals and it is natural). This topic also include human rights aspects based on Cambodian laws and international treaties.
