International Human Rights Day

“LGBT rights is Human Rights” is the message RoCK use when organized our first International Human Rights Day (IHRD). It is another important annual event and platform for RoCK members and local authority and National Government to interact, learn and support each other. It’s also become a space for our general assembly where our members make decision over our RoCK’s upcoming activities and strategy.

Our latest IHRD 2019, RoCK celebrate with the theme of “Warm Shelter” . What is a #warmshelter? It’s a place where LGBTIQ communities feel safe because of acceptance, support and protection from their surrounding starting from their family to the law and policy. Warm Shelter is the place where citizen of diverse sexual orientation and gender identity could show their talents and their contribution in their everyday lives and careers in the spirit of respect, love and solidarity. Warm Shelter is a place where the government protect and promote human rights of every citizen in the present and future.
